The vast knowledge and natural ability to envision completed decor has exceeded the expectations of many residential and commercial clients of Wendy Lynne Burgess since 1972. She conceptualizes and implements unique designs for clients, and incorporates their personal preferences and tastes to “make your house your home”. Every client is different, and the key to finding the balance between the functional needs and the overall comfort is within the personalities of the people ( and pets ) living within the space.

Although a full spectrum of decorating services are offered by Wendy, she is highly specialized in window coverings. Over the years she has owned and operated her own custom drapery and bedding sewing workroom and has managed a national workroom for a wholesaler. Wendy has been commissioned to set up custom sewing workrooms for other retailers and is called upon for her expertise in draperies by many designers and students, of which some have had the opportunity to mentor under her to gain experience in the world of decorating and design. Wendy has fulfilled many speaking and teaching engagements and has decorated award winning show homes.
In 2004 Wendy became the first person in Canada to receive the coveted Product and Performance Degree from the Hunter Douglas Window Fashions Institute.
